Picture #1 Circle is drawn larger than needed - as a guide. To save center cut about where red line is.
Second cut was a little deep but cut through the heel of the plate. This is why you want to mark the circle larger than you need.
Catch wheels just inside the heel of the plate and cut while pulling to the right, this cuts away the heel along with the edges. Small cuts are better than big.
Nibble (sort of grind with wheels) a nice edge around centerpiece and your done!
