The wedding urn is made by using china plates brought or sent in by guests especially to make a mosaic piece for the couple. The bride and groom then break the china and someone makes the mosaic piece. It can be an urn, mirror, table, whatever the artist wants to make. Supposedly, the more china that's brought in, the better luck is bestowed upon the happily married couple. What a wonderful wedding gift!!
